University of North Texas Cheerleaders
Tracie ONeal is extremely excited to be coaching the Mean Green Cheerleaders coming back to her alma mater. Tracie is an alum of North Texas completing her BBA in Marketing in 1999 and her MEd in 2003. Tracie was a member and captain of the North Texas Dancers. She spent eight years coaching at John Horn High School in Mesquite where she achieved many years of success. Tracie was awarded the coveted NCA Texas High School Cheer Coach of the Year award from NCA in 2008, but attributes all of her success to her teams.
Tracie is currently the National Sales Director for Cheerleading.com, but her favorite role is being a mom. She has two sons, Kaden (12) and Cooper (10), that are very involved in sports. Tracie is married to Bryan, who is the Defensive Coordinator at Denton Braswell H.S.
Tracie is very involved in high school and youth choreography and judging. She is excited to continue a new era of North Texas Cheer that is geared towards making an impact in the new Mean Green stadium, cherishing past NTC traditions, making new traditions, and developing a program that the University of North Texas can be proud of!

Coach Dani Howell is in her 4th year as coach of the Mean Green Cheerleaders and is a recent graduate of UNT. She has a Bachelors in Elementary Education.
Dani coordinates all of our scheduling and special fundraising events such as the Junior Mean Green Cheerleader. One day she hopes to be an owner of a competition cheerleading gym.
Prior to UNT Dani was a coordinator of a product development company. She values the experience and feels it will assist her in her coaching career. Her father and mother were both college athletes and coaches in their respective sports and support her decision to move into coaching. Dani is married to Matt Lemmons and they are expecting their first child in August, a baby boy.
She is extremely excited to be a part of this program and loves being a part of the new era of North Texas Cheer. She can’t wait to be on the field in the Mean Green stadium as a coach and a proud member of the North Texas Cheer Program.
